Cathy is a Taxation Manager in DHKN .

Cathy specialises in Value Added Tax and Tax Planning for a large number of corporate clients and high net worth individuals.   Cathy has gained considerable experience in her areas of expertise with DHKN.

Recent assignments include:

• Review of the VAT history of a property portfolio for a high net worth individual and advising on the VAT implications on the purchase and sale of property;
• Advising a large corporate client regarding the place of supply of various sales to include identifying VAT registrations required in various EU countries and identifying the VAT due in Ireland and various EU jurisdictions;
• Advising on the tax implications of an investment in property to include advices on an appropriate investment structure suitable for the acquisition and development of the property for trading and investment purposes.

Cathy trained and worked in general practice before specialising in taxation with Ernst & Young.

Cathy is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is a Chartered Tax Advisor.
